Richard A. Lisauskas, CPA
President & Chief Executive Officer
Rich joined Axxis in December of 2001. He was appointed to the
Company's Board of Directors as President and Chief Executive Officer
in October of 2003. Rich brings more than 15 years of industry and
high technology experience including a unique blend of enterprise
software, business management, sales and operations expertise. Before
joining the Company, Rich was Vice President of Business Development
for the Cedar Group, a UK-based publicly traded enterprise software
and solutions provider. While at Cedar, Rich was responsible for many
executive relationships including global partners Oracle, Business
Objects and Siemens. Under Rich's leadership, Cedar's North American
division was able to significantly increase its sales and service
revenues.
Prior experience included eight years as an accountant and consultant
with KPMG Peat Marwick and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC). While at PWC,
Rich pioneered their first Business Process Outsourcing Unit within their
compliance practice and served many high tech companies as an advisor and
consultant on diverse issues such as technology integration, financial
reporting and international tax structuring.
Rich is a CPA and a member of the AICPA. He is also a member of the
AICPA Technology Committee. He holds a BS degree in Accounting from
Bentley College.
Thurman Davis
Venture Advisor
Thurman Davis, retired from Federal service on July 3, 2003, was
Deputy Administrator of the United States General Services Administration
(GSA), having been appointed to that position on October 1, 1995. He has
served as the number two official of the Agency with three different
Administrators during two administrations. GSA, an independent agency of
The Executive Branch, coordinates federal policy and provides services to
other Federal agencies in the area of federal real estate and construction,
supply and service procurement, telecommunications and information
technology and motor vehicle and travel management.
Mr. Davis has twice been awarded the Presidential Rank of Meritorious
Executive and once the rank of Distinguished Executive, the highest
recognition awarded to a career federal executive. He has also received
the Distinguished Service Award by the Administrator of General Services
for sustained superior service to the Agency.
Mr. Davis is a member of Blacks in Government, the National Forum of
Black Public Administrators, the NAACP, 100 Black Men of Greater Washington,
DC, and the Senior Executive Association. He is a life member of the Alpha
Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and also serves as a Director for LiveWave, Inc.
of Newport, Rhode Island.
Theodore Tedeschi
Special Counsel, Zero Stage Capital
Ted Tedeschi, who has had a relationship with Zero Stage Capital for
approximately 20 years, has overall responsibility for the legal affairs
of the firm, its relationships with its investors and portfolio companies,
and corporate governance. He is an Axxis, Inc. Board Member and a Special
Counsel for Zero Stage Capital.
He works closely with the firm's investment professionals and partners.
His work with portfolio companies includes evaluating the legal affairs of
potential investments, and post-investment monitoring, as well as all
aspects of harvesting investment value, mergers and acquisitions, and
implementing the firm's exit strategies. He also facilitates the
maximization of value in unsuccessful portfolio companies, by workout or
disposition.
In private practice Ted represented numerous diverse public and private
companies, financial institutions, and governmental and quasi-governmental
authorities such as the United States Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation,
the United States Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, Resolution Trust
Company, and the Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority.
Ted earned his undergraduate degree with honors from Princeton University,
and a JD from Columbia Law School. He has been a practicing attorney for more
than 30 years. An expert in complex business litigation strategy and
settlement, he is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, and relevant United
States Federal Courts including the United States Supreme Court.
