Price Management
AXXIS Price Management has evolved into a widely accepted and used software application coupled with a communications utility. Together they automate the capture of daily posted rack prices by marketers and other buyers in support of their "Best Buy" decision making. Using Price Management, buyers can calculate gross, net, and "laid-in" or delivered prices and compare them directly, ensuring that their daily choice of supplier and pickup location results in the best possible price. Optional "add-on" features include interfaces to a variety of accounting packages used in the industry (e.g. PDI) for export of prices.
Benefits
- Convenience - Price Management collects supplier prices from many different locations and puts them all in one place, first for buying decision support, and then for posting to internal accounting systems.
- Personnel Cost Savings - Prices are captured automatically and stored in a database with little or no manual intervention required. Since fewer people can do what's needed, a marketer can expand its market area without adding headcount.
- Lower Cost of Product - Actual delivered costs can be calculated against all possible suppliers and buying locations, giving marketers an accurate, ranked list of preferred suppliers and pickup locations.
